National Law Expert to Discuss ‘Supreme Court and Election Law’

Richard L. Hasen, a nationally recognized expert in legislation, election law and campaign finance regulation will be the speaker for a Saturday, April 21, presentation and discussion sponsored by Cal State Fullerton’s Patrons of the Library.

Hasen is author of the just released “The Justice of Contradictions: Antonin Scalia and the Politics of Disruption.” He is Chancellor’s Professor of Law and Political Science  at UC Irvine, and has written more than 100 articles in such publications as the Harvard and Stanford Law Reviews, as well as the Supreme Court Review. Hasen also has written op-eds and commentaries in the New York Times, Washington Post, Politico and Slate. In 2013, he was named one of the 100 most influential lawyers in America by the National Law Journal.
