Joel Abraham, Cal State Fullerton associate professor of biological science, assisted Stephanie Leon in writing her first children’s book, “The Answer is Armadillos.” Leon earned a master’s in English education from Syracuse and completed special education teaching credential studies at CSUF.
Abraham acted as a science consultant for the book, adding snippets about the animal kingdom, and contributed to the “fun facts” section at the end of the book.
Leon said the collaboration allowed her to see her work “from a different point of view” and also inspired Abraham to write his own children’s book. Continue reading in the Orange County Register.
