Wildfires. Distracted driving. Campus shootings.

The world can be a dangerous place, but risk management professionals are tasked with identifying such hazards and putting measures in place to mitigate them.

Cal State Fullerton’s Center for Insurance Studies invites campus students, faculty and staff to attend the Risk Management Exposition Wednesday, April 10, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. to learn what local officials are doing to address potential dangers, and how individuals can help protect themselves.

The exposition in the Mihaylo courtyard will offer food and information from a variety of organizations, including the Orange County Risk & Insurance Management Society, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) and the Orange County American Industrial Hygiene Association.

A risk management panel discussion 1 p.m.-2:15 p.m. in Mihaylo Hall, Room 3230, will feature staff from CSUF’s Office of Risk Management and Compliance, Environmental Health and Safety, and university police discussing campus protections.
