Helen L. Hayner, library reference coordinator emeritus, died April 2 at the age of 97.
She joined the campus community in 1964 as a reference librarian after serving two years at Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia. She went on to serve Cal State Fullerton for 22 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul, who taught in the university’s Philosophy Department. Hayner is survived by her sons Gregory and Robert.
