Sophomore pitcher Taylor Dockins has been selected to receive the Judi Garman Determination award. She will get the award at softball’s Leadoff Social Fundraiser on Jan. 26.
The award serves as a lifetime achievement award given to people who have made a long-lasting impact on the Cal State Fullerton softball program. Dockins, who is undergoing treatment for liver cancer, will be just the fourth recipient of the award following past recipients Julie Max, Pam Newton and Deb Hartwig in previous years.
