I took my first steps onto the campus of Cal State Fullerton in July 2019. That summer the Allied Health Academy Research Program helped me gain knowledge about graduate school, research experience, and professional skills. As a biology major, I was paired with Erica Howell, a professor in the Department of Special Education, and a board member of the Cure Blau Syndrome Foundation.
