In a role combining her passions for technology and baseball, Cal State Fullerton alumna Kari Escobedo is the Seattle Mariners’ new senior vice president of information technology.
Escobedo ’95 (B.A. business administration-management), who played Division 1 softball for two seasons at CSUF on an athletics scholarship, oversees business operations technology, business intelligence and data, ballpark technology, baseball technology, and fan experience for the Mariners.
The former CSUF President’s Scholar brings 20 years of leadership experience in a wide range of companies, including Microsoft, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Kaiser Permanente Washington and Bartell Drugs. She credits the versatility of a CSUF education in helping her transition and achieve success in a variety of industries.
