Campus Evacuation Drills Slated

Share This:

Campus members are asked to take part in two evacuation drills scheduled next month.

An alarm will occur at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, and 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, and all students, faculty, staff and visitors are expected to stop what they are doing, grab personal possessions and leave the building where they are located, moving to designated evacuation areas, not the Quad. A map with the designated areas is available online. Evacuation drills typically last about 15-20 minutes. Re-enter the building only after the fire alarm has ceased.

For more information on what to do during an evacuation, check out the University’s Emergency Preparedness website. Additional information is available by contacting Sue Fisher, emergency management coordinator, at sfisher@fullerton.edu.
