Look for a Cal State Fullerton alumna on the sidelines during Los Angeles Lakers games this fall. The team recently named Nina Hsieh ’00 (B.S. kinesiology) to the role of assistant athletic trainer. In this role, she is primarily responsible for the prevention, care and treatment of player injuries.
CSUF has been preparing students for careers in athletic training since 1973. Every year, more than 50 aspiring athletic trainers vie for eight spots in the University’s Athletic Training Program. Putting her Titan education to work, Hsieh is one of a growing list of alumni who have landed careers with professional sports teams.
