In what promises to be a spectacular sight, stargazers and others who want to witness the supermoon on Monday, Nov. 14, can attend a 6:30 p.m. public viewing party hosted by Cal State Fullerton’s Physics Department.
This will be the closest full moon to Earth in 68 years — since 1948 — and won’t happen again until 2034.
Telescopes will be available for viewing. The stargazing event will take place on the lawn area near the Engineering Building and the Student Health and Counseling Center.
Parking is $2 per hour or $8 for a daily permit. For parking and campus map information, visit online. For more information, contact Shovit Bhari, Physics, or 657-278-2148.
