William Julius, a longtime lecturer of political science, died March 7.
Julius joined the Titan faculty as a part-time lecturer in the Division of Politics, Administration and Justice in fall 2002 and taught classes in American government, contemporary issues in California government, political parties and political behavior. He was actively involved in several high-impact educational experiences on campus, including town hall collaborations and the Supplemental Instruction program.
He received his bachelor’s degree in political science from Cal State Fullerton and earned his doctorate from Claremont Graduate University.
Julius is survived by his mother, Anne Marie; sisters Caroline Pratt and Elizabeth; three nephews, Jacob Chattin, and Tyler and Dennis Pratt; and niece, Felicia Pratt.
