The exhibition, “Invocation of Almost: The Art of David Tibet,” in the Begovich Gallery, features artwork and music that channels the obsessions and daydreams — many of them apocalyptic — of the British artist.
Curator Jacqueline Bunge and co-curator Shaun Richards’ gathered art for more than two years that is inspired by Coptic and Akkadian texts, languages originating in Tibet, and portrayed through sculptures, installation pieces, paintings, and drawings.
