The artistry of five Cal State Fullerton art majors will be going on the auction block Saturday, Nov. 16 — all in support of arts education throughout the Fullerton School District.
Gabe Munoz, Brittany Wilson, Kayla Victor, Jason Medrano and Sandra Rangel have contributed works for the All the Art for All the Kids Foundation annual auction. The five are from the class of Marsha Judd, who has been involved with the foundation for more than 20 years. In addition, 28 fellow classmates will be serving as event volunteers.
“I really appreciate the opportunity this event give us as artists to expose our art and also to help others,” notes Sandra Rangel. “This event is important to our careers because it will let people know us as artists. I hope my art can inspire somebody like it inspires me.”
“Working with All the Arts for All the Kids Foundation has been one of the highlights of my semester,” says Gabe Munoz, whose piece “Tabletop Foosball in American Craftsman Style” will be for sale. “I am grateful to be able to help an organization that already gives so much to the kids in our community, and I hope to work with them again in the future.”
“These are very generous student-artists who have donated some amazing work,” says Judd. Exhibiting and working with this nonprofit, she added, “is just one of the ways to help create career pathways for our very deserving students.”
