Hugo J. Fabris, emeritus technician III, support services, died at the age of 95.
Fabris served as an electronics technician in what is now the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. His work focused on repairing and maintaining electronic equipment for the Physics and Chemistry departments. He received emeritus status in 1991.
As his supervisor, Mark Shapiro, professor emeritus of physics, who served as chair of the Physics Department, recalled that Fabris was “a joy to work with because of his positive attitude, skills and knowledge of a wide variety of electronic equipment.”
