Cal State Fullerton will commemorate Juneteenth, a federal holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the United States, with the raising of a Pan Afrikan flag Friday, June 17. The ceremony will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. at the flagpole in front of Langsdorf Hall. Event speakers include Cecil Chik, interim assistant vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion; Moe Miller, lecturer in criminal justice; and Sharrica Miller, assistant professor of nursing.
