Announcing a guiding framework for Cal State Fullerton’s future, President Sylvia Alva and members of the strategic plan development committee will unveil the university’s new strategic plan to the Titan community on Feb. 7. Fullerton Forward 2024-29 will outline the priorities, goals and vision for the next five years.
The launch event will take place from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in Meng Concert Hall. Attend in person or watch the livestream on Titan TV.
Over the past year, more than 5,600 individuals from the campus community attended multiple forums and through different venues, contributed through their voices, ideas and aspirations for what the next strategic plan should accomplish. The strategic plan development committee used that rich feedback from faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partners to establish the university’s mission, vision, values, goals, objectives and strategies for the next five years.
CSUF’s third strategic plan will focus on elevating student success by creating innovative learning opportunities for our diverse learning populations, including nontraditional and underserved students. The plan reflects the university’s commitment to supporting faculty and staff success, improving physical and financial capacities, magnifying CSUF’s presence in local communities, continuing to build a culture of equity, inclusion and care, and modernizing campus operations.
The plan will serve the ultimate goal of preparing students with the knowledge, skills and preparation that leads to upward mobility and success after graduation. It will also build on the work of the 2018-23 strategic plan to enhance student experiences through comprehensive services and support that foster student well-being and Titan pride.
The full plan, along with food and giveaways, will be provided at the launch event. More information is available on the Fullerton Forward website.
