In honor of Black History Month, Cal State Fullerton invites the Titan community to participate in a range of activities and programs during the month of February that celebrate Black history, culture, accomplishments and contributions to society.
The Association for the Study of African American Life and History selected the 2026 theme, “A Century of Black History Commemorations,” in recognition of historian Carter G. Woodson’s first weeklong observance of Black history 100 years ago.
At CSUF, students, faculty, staff and community members will have the opportunity to engage in dialogue and reflection about Black excellence and joy. The month’s events explore Black history and culture in such areas as athletics, sciences and mathematics, music and more.
