The Chicana and Chicano Studies Department presents a 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, screening of “No Más Bebés.”
The documentary shares the stories of immigrant mothers who sued county doctors, the state and the U.S. government after they were forced into sterilization while giving birth at the Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in the 1960s and ’70s.
Co-producer Virginia Espino will attend and discuss the film after the showing, in Room 1502 of Mihaylo Hall.
