The Conference Committee of the California Legislature voted Tuesday to provide the California State University with an additional $227.5 million in ongoing funds to amplify the university’s success in increasing graduation rates.
This amount includes the $119.5 million identified in Governor Brown’s multiyear funding plan, plus an additional $108 million in base budget support. The Conference Committee budget will soon be voted on by both houses of the Legislature and, if approved, will be advanced to the governor for signature. Continue reading.
