Garrett Hart, Cal State Fullerton chair and professor of cinema and television arts, will present a free, public talk Saturday, Dec. 10, in Room 130 of the Pollak Library. The 2 p.m. event is part of an ongoing speaker series hosted by the Patrons of the Library.
Hart has more than 25 years of experience in the television industry and served as president of Paramount Network Television for 11 years before joining the University in 2014.
While at Paramount, he managed more than $1 billion in annual production activities and led a team responsible for the launch and production of several hit series, including “Frasier,” “NCIS,” “Star Trek Enterprise” and “Star Trek Voyager.”
Hart received a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Queens College, City University of New York, and a master’s degree and doctorate in communications from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
