To ensure a successful transition to Cal State Fullerton, thousands of incoming freshmen, prospective students and their families are expected to attend New Student Orientation activities between June 15 through July 8.
Additionally, Transfer Student Orientations will take place July 6-15.
Some of the daylong activities include campus tours, individual tours of students’ colleges, overviews of academic expectations and major requirements, and lunch at the Gastronome dining facility.
New this year is a pilot Overnight Orientation program that will give more than 100 underserved students the opportunity to experience college life for two days.
“Our University orientation experiences provide a space for priceless and powerful onboarding of our new Titans,” said Berenecea Johnson Eanes, vice president for student affairs. “During these times, we want to make sure they are plugged in and ready for academic and co-curricular success. Our overnight experience, in particular, is a high-impact practice that we are excited to see grow in the coming years.”
