Share This:

The Patrons and Emeriti Book Sale Center end-of-semester sale will take place May 6-9 from noon to 5 p.m. each day. The sale will include half-off all items, and the Book Sale Center will provide small bags to fill for $5 and large bags to fill for $10. The Book Sale Center sells used nonfiction and fiction books, magazines, CDs, sheet music and DVDs. It is located in Pollak Library, room 190, which is accessible from the quad outside the library. The sale will be cash only.

The center accepts donations of books, National Geographic and Life magazines, CDs, sheet music and DVDs. Donations can be brought to the Book Sale Center Monday through Thursday from noon to  5 p.m. during the first 15 weeks of each 16-week semester. Please reach out to Scott Hewitt at shewitt@fullerton.edu to make a donation at other dates or times of the year.

The main purpose of the Book Sale Center is to raise funds for Pollak Library’s Special Collections as well as to provide students and the campus community with access to low-priced, used books. This year, funds went toward the first U.S. Latinx science fiction collection, a project that was led by David Sandner, professor of English, comparative literature and linguistics. It also went toward matching funds for Pollak Library fundraising and exhibit cases for Special Collections on the first floor of the library.
