More than 140 golfers took to the links on Monday, April 2, for a day of sunshine, networking and golf at the 31st annual Hispanic Scholarship Golf Tournament.
But the day’s activities and the golfers’ involvement also helped support student success. The sold-out event netted $105,000 for the Abrego Future Scholars Program, which provides financial and academic support, including mentoring, advising and leadership opportunities, for disadvantaged first-time freshmen and transfer students during their first year of study at Cal State Fullerton.
More information about the scholars program is available online or by calling Jaime E. Hamilton, coordinator of the Abrego Future Scholars program, 657-278-2389.
