The annual Student Investment Conference at Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics provides opportunities for undergraduate, graduate and high school students interested in investment, wealth management or financial planning careers to explore these paths through workshops and competitions in exchange for scholarship funding.
Business Titans joined the event on Nov. 14 to participate in the stock and fund pitch competition and listen to panel discussions featuring faculty, students and friends of the Titan Capital Management program on equity, wealth management, fixed income, exchange traded funds, mutual funds and the latest economic trends.
Cal State Fullerton student teams took first place in both the stock and fund pitch competitions, in each case obtaining $500 in scholarships. The stock pitch winning team comprised Daniel Castellanos, Clinton Cox and Triston Yang, while Ray Muire, Trinity Tran, Samanta Santonil, Eamon Helding, and Issac O’Barr were the first-place portfolio and fund team.
