In celebration of Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American Heritage Month in April, Cal State Fullerton invites the Titan community to engage in a series of programs and events that honor the community’s vibrant traditions and histories.

The 2026 APISAA Heritage Month theme, “Rooted and Rising: APISAA in Bloom,” recognizes the strength and continued growth of Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American communities. “Rooted” honors the community’s ancestral knowledge, shared histories and cultural foundations. “Rising” speaks to resilience, leadership and self-determination, and “bloom” celebrates creativity, care, scholarship and community-building.

CSUF observes Asian Pacific Islander South Asian American Heritage Month in April to ensure the inclusion and active participation of the campus community.

Throughout April, faculty, staff and students will have opportunities to engage in activities and discussions that honor the voices, experiences, and impact of APISAA individuals and communities.
