Fourteen Cal State Fullerton Titans tell their personal stories of anti-racism in a new video series named for the conversation about race and anti-Blackness that, unfortunately, people in the Black community are compelled to have with their loved ones — “The Talk.”
The recently launched series is the topic of a March 18 panel discussion about race and anti-Blackness and about inspiring change. The 10 a.m. panel talk is part of the university’s week-long, virtual Social Justice Week. “The Talk” project is a collaboration between the university’s Strategic Communications and Brand Management department and the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Programs. Comedian, host and executive producer of “United Shades of America,” W. Kamau Bell ends Social Justice Week events with a keynote address at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 19. Register here for this event.
