The CSUF Police Department is offering a Hands-On Active Shooter training April 16 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Titan Student Union. The training consists of a presentation and a controlled simulation of “Fight” in the Run. Hide. Fight. Response.
This is a physical activity that may include simulated gunshot sounds by the facilitator, a simulated weapon, yelling and interaction to subdue the aggressor. A safe zone is established for those who wish to refrain from participating in the hands-on portion of the training.
Those who are unable to participate can request a free presentation or hands-on training for their department, club, group or organization by visiting the Police Department website.
If you have any questions regarding the training opportunity, email Marissa Garza at magarza@fullerton.edu.
