Associated Students Inc. invites all Cal State Fullerton students to embark on their journeys as student leaders by applying to run for ASI elections. The application period is open until Feb. 10 at 11:59 p.m. via the CSUF InfoReady4 website.
Deeply rooted in ASI tradition, the ASI board of directors plays an integral part in shaping campus culture through campaigns, policy development and advocacy efforts that directly impact students. The voting period will take place online and on campus from March 10-11.
“Our team decided to prioritize the Wellness Initiative this year, focusing on student mental health,” said Joe Morales, 2024-25 ASI president. “Mental health is something we all relate to, and it’s an issue we knew needed attention. My hope is whoever becomes the next student government team will see the importance of wellness, too.”
Open candidacy positions include ASI president, vice president, board of directors chair and board representatives for each college on campus.
“From helping develop new scholarships for underrepresented communities to collaborating with faculty, our student leaders foster meaningful change on campus every day,” said Rebecca Hesgard, ASI director of student government. “They’re able to tangibly see the differences they make while getting valuable experience.”
In ASI leadership positions, students have the opportunity to tackle real-life challenges with hands-on solutions, collaborate with campus leaders and faculty, and grow their leadership skills.
Whether students seek to use this experience to advance their graduate school ambitions, build their own businesses or simply get involved on campus, ASI elections offer an opportunity to shape their college experience and make a lasting impact.
