The Cal State Fullerton community is invited to celebrate National First-Generation College Student Week. This celebration is held across the country each year on November 8, honoring the anniversary of the signing of the Higher Education Act of 1965. As a campus, we will celebrate all First-Generation Titans throughout the week of November 7 – 11.
Cal State Fullerton was awarded the First-Gen Forward Designation in 2022 and is nationally recognized as a higher education institution committed to first-generation student success! Please join us in celebrating and save the date for the following events open to the campus community.
First Gen Kickoff

In recognition of Cal State Fullerton’s university-wide celebration of First Gen Week, the Division of Student Affairs will host a special kickoff event on Monday, November 7 from 1 – 3 p.m. in the Titan Student Union, Pavilion A, complete with a resource fair, activities and special giveaways for all first-generation students!

Curious about the experience faculty members had when they were the first in their families to go to college? Need advice? Like donuts? Join us on Wednesday, November 9 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. for this sweet mixer in PLN-130! Hosted by the Division of Academic Affairs.
