Celebrating Hispanic Serving Institutions Week at CSUF

Share This:

The Division of Student Affairs and Strategic Enrollment Management, along with the Division of Human Resources and Inclusive Excellence, invites the campus community to join in recognizing Hispanic Serving Institutions Week 2025: “Hecho en CSUF” from Sept. 8-15. The weeklong celebration underscores Cal State Fullerton’s dedication to Latinx student success and fostering an inclusive environment for all.

Cal State Fullerton initially received its designation as a Hispanic-Serving Institution for enrolling over 25% Latinx/a/o students. Today, more than 50% of students identify as Hispanic/Latinx.

HSI Week offers a unique opportunity to celebrate this strength and reaffirm the university’s commitment to meaningful service through impactful programs, partnerships and shared values.

‘Hecho en CSUF/Made in CSUF’

This year’s theme, “Hecho en CSUF/Made in CSUF,” honors the experiences, cultural strengths and academic excellence of students, faculty and staff. It embodies pride in being educated at CSUF and acknowledges the significant role the campus plays in shaping the future of this community.

Open to All

HSI Week programs are open and available to all interested participants, regardless of race, sex, color, ethnicity, national origin or other protected statuses.

The university encourages everyone to check out the calendar of events and visit the website for full program details and updates.
