Seven Legends were honored at the 15th Anniversary C-REAL Gala for unwavering support and advocacy for underserved communities and students. Legends included CSUF faculty and staff Drs. Katherine Powers and Eugene Fujimoto, and administrators Luis Molina and Lydia Palacios. Community member and veteran advocate, CSUF alumnus Bobby McDonald, and Ed.D. alumni Drs. Karla Aguirre and Antonio Banks were also recognized.

The gala was attended by over 100 CSUF students and alumni who served as researchers in the center while attending CSUF. This event featured the Legends, a tribute to veterans, and CSUF Tuesday Jazz Combo, concluding with an abbreviated rendition of “A Chorus Line” under the direction of Mr. Marty Lamar and associates from the Theatre Department.
