A Cal State Fullerton first-year faculty member will be attending ELEVATE — a July 20-22 early career faculty training program hosted by Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
Dr. Guadalupe Díaz Lara, assistant professor in the Department of Child & Adolescent Studies, is among 15 ELEVATE Fellows selected from across the country.
ELEVATE — Enriching Learning, Enhancing Visibility and Training Educators — provides workshops on topics such as grant writing, creating a research agenda, navigating the professoriate, effective teaching and mentoring.
