Public Health Lecturer Severiano Sanchez collaborated on developing a social emotional learning app to help support K-12 students during the pandemic. The you and app is an interactive experience that includes age-appropriate videos, engaging activities, and a virtual student workbook designed by social emotional learning instructors, and peer-reviewed by collaborators at University of California, Irvine. The app and digital workbook is completely free for users as a result of CARES Act funding through a collaboration between Orange County Health Care Agency, Phoenix House Behavioral Health Intervention and Support Services, Deep Change Media, and One Mind PsyberGuide.
