The Spanish Program at Cal State Fullerton is excited to announce that it will host a Latin American and Spanish Film Festival in spring 2024. The festival, called “Cinema in Good Company,” will be open to the public and will feature a variety of films with English subtitles.
Attendees will be able to enjoy refreshments while they watch the films. The festival will begin with a Wednesday, March 6, screening of the award-winning Spanish film “El Olivo” (“The Olive Tree”) by Icíar Bollaín. The screening will take place at 7 p.m. in Gordon Hall, room 252.
The main objective of the festival is to provide a space where students and the campus community can enjoy new Latin American and Spanish films while also learning about social issues Hispanic societies face.
