As students return to campus, so do the endless opportunities to connect, get involved and enhance the Titan experience. The Office of Student Life and Leadership, in partnership with Associated Students Inc., will co-sponsor Discoverfest on Aug. 26 from 3-6 p.m. and Aug. 27 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the intramural field. This year, Discoverfest celebrates a special milestone of 30 years of building the Titan community.
Discoverfest began in 1996 and is CSUF’s largest involvement event. Since then, participation from clubs and student organizations has grown tremendously. This year, more than 220 organizations are expected to participate, representing academic and honor societies, service, cultural, sports, fraternities and sororities, faith, and special interest clubs and student organizations.
This representation is a result of the time and energy that students, faculty and staff dedicate to creating opportunities for connection, leadership, belonging and engagement at Cal State Fullerton. Discoverfest celebrates those contributions while inviting the entire Titan community to experience them. Whether attendees are students searching for a place on campus, returning student leaders, faculty or staff members, or simply interested in learning more about the communities that make up CSUF, Discoverfest is a unique event to connect and learn from one another.
With more than 300 registered student organizations on campus, there are hundreds of ways for students to get involved. Discoverfest helps students find avenues to feel welcomed, valued and connected.
Over the last 30 years, Discoverfest has helped bring Titans together. All members of the community are invited to join in celebrating and continuing that legacy.
