Psychology major Jasmine Lars is deeply involved in the Cal State DC Scholars program, delving into social justice efforts in Washington, D.C. Her internship at The Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships focuses on maternal dialogues to combat societal prejudices and violence.
Lars also is the recipient of a scholarship from the Scott-Jewett Fund for Student Success and Innovation, which supports educational opportunities through the lens of social justice.
As part of Cal State Fullerton’s Social Justice Week from March 18-22, Lars will give a presentation on health and human services in the federal government.
