Cal State Fullerton’s Department of Women and Gender Studies will now be known as the Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies.
To honor this transformation and announce the name change, the department will host a Feb. 19 event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the quad outside of the Humanities and Social Sciences Building. The event will celebrate cross-department collaborations, including new certificate programs and gender and sexuality studies tracks. As part of this relaunch, the department invites CSUF colleagues to explore ways they can collaborate and support this collective ascension and growth. Staff, students and classes are welcome to attend. The event will include a photo booth, games, prizes, a visit from Tuffy, and on-site advising and information from the department’s faculty, alumni and student club.
