Titans Give, Cal State Fullerton’s annual day of giving, united the Titan community on March 12 for 24 hours of generosity and impact. This year’s campaign set new records, raising nearly $1 million from more than 3,900 donors — both all-time highs for the initiative. Since the inception of Titans Give, nearly $3.5 million has been raised to support scholarships, academic programs, student organizations, athletics and other campus causes.
Throughout the day, matching gift challenges, social media engagement and campuswide excitement fueled the momentum, inspiring donors to rally around causes that directly impact students. Alumni, faculty, staff and friends came together to make a difference, with students sharing their personal stories about how donor support has shaped their academic journeys.
For many, giving back to CSUF is a way to pay forward the opportunities they received as students. Mary Chammas, a recent graduate and dedicated supporter, said, “I give back to CSUF yearly because my undergraduate experience provided me with invaluable opportunities for growth, shaping me into the leader I am today. Investing in Titans strengthens the next generation and ensures that more students receive the support they need to thrive.”
The impact of this generosity is felt across campus, from academic programs to student organizations. Temi Oyefeso, president of Women in Business & STEM, emphasized how crucial this support is. “Thanks to the donations we receive, we’re able to host workshops, networking events and mentorship programs that empower our members to succeed in their academic and professional journeys. Being a Titan means having a community that supports your growth, and we are incredibly grateful for the continued support that makes these opportunities possible,” said Oyefeso.
