The Pollak Library’s Faculty Noon Time Talks continue on Tuesday, Feb. 28 with Randall Fujimoto, designer and instructor of a game-based, learning microcredential program at CSUF. Fujimoto is a game-based learning designer and the executive director of GameTrain Learning, Inc.
His presentation, “Game-Based Learning in Higher Education,” will provide an overview of game-based learning (GBL) and he will share ideas about how to utilize GBL activities to better engage students. During this interactive session, there will be discussion of the various types of GBL activities, benefits of GBL, intrinsic motivation, and the “gameful” mindset framework.
