The Pollak Library Faculty Noontime Talks conclude May 2 with Saul Tobias, professor of liberal studies presenting, “Civic Education and Civic Identity: Lessons From the Classroom.” The discussion will consider the idea of civic identity and a few of the barriers students face in developing a strong sense of civic identity as a foundation of civic learning. Examples from the classroom will be used to illustrate the argument.
