Music Professor Performs Solo at Carnegie Hall

Internationally aclaimed cellist Bongshin Ko, professor of music/cello, performs as a featured soloist at the world’s prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City. She is invited to perform at the Korean War Memorial Concert presented by the Ministry of Patriots & Veterans of Republic of Korea and supported by the Ministry of National Defence and Mission of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations, and Korea-U.S. Alliance Foundation. The special concert, entitled “In Remembrance of Our Heroes” is in memory of the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, takes place on October 23. Ko will perform two solo works written by Ernst Bloch and Anton Razek, with Seocho Philharmonia Orchestra, at the world-famed Stern Auditorium of the Carnegie Hall.
