Cal State Fullerton University Extension is excited to welcome Monique Cain as a new instructor in its Fiduciary Management Certificate Program. With more than two decades of experience in fraud investigation, probate law and fiduciary management, Cain brings real-world knowledge and a deep commitment to educating the next generation of professional fiduciaries.
Raised in Inglewood, Cain holds a bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University and has pursued advanced certifications throughout her career. She earned a master’s degree in behavioral science with a focus on dispute resolution from Cal State Dominguez Hills and a juris doctor from Concord Law School.
Cain served as a probate investigator for the Los Angeles Superior Court and spent over 20 years as a fraud investigator for various organizations. A licensed professional fiduciary for the past 14 years, she has managed high net worth trust estates with complex assets and estate plans.
In addition to her fiduciary work, Cain serves as a neutral evaluator and consultant, collaborating with attorneys and private parties in multi-party litigated cases. She also serves as the executive state board secretary for the Professional Fiduciary Association of California.
When she’s not working or teaching, Cain enjoys cooking and traveling.
