For Titans looking for a creative way to give back, the Pollak Library Creator Commons and Makerspace will host a cozy and meaningful crafting event on Feb. 11 from 2-3 p.m. Located on the second floor on the north side of the library, the event invites campus community members to make no-sew tie blankets to donate to a local animal shelter.
This hands-on activity is beginner-friendly and requires no sewing experience. Each blanket made will help provide warmth and comfort to animals in need, proving that a simple craft can have a big heart.
Whether attendees want to learn about the Makerspace, meet fellow Titans or support a great cause, the event provides the campus community with an opportunity to participate in a fun and meaningful activity. All materials will be provided.
