The Faculty Noontime Talks continue Tuesday, March 21, with Mikel Hogan, professor of human services. Her presentation, “Edge Dancers: Mixed Heritage Identity Negotiation of Multi-Ethnic/Racial/Marginalized College/University Students,” will first describe the study that coined the term “edge dancers.” This study revealed their “performance” as a dance of three simultaneous experiential themes of alienation, complexity and celebration.
