Some Ideas for Your 2024 New Year’s Resolution

Share This:

2024 is right around the corner, and that means it’s time to start thinking of New Year’s resolutions. Why not make a resolution to advance your education or career? CSUF Extension & International Programs (EIP) has got you covered with a variety of programs that can help you advance your educational or professional life.

If you’re looking to move up in your organization, start or switch careers, or distinguish yourself from other job applicants, then make a resolution to complete one of EIP’s Professional Certificate Programs! Choose from the fields of business, crime and intelligence analysis, fiduciary management, or technology and engineering.

Do you enjoy the convenience of online learning? EIP offers Online Degree Completion Programs* in Business Administration, Sociology, and Humanities & Social Sciences. Through these programs, you’ll earn the same bachelor’s degree and participate in the same graduation ceremony that you would on campus. If you’re currently employed, check with your organization’s Human Resources department and find out how you can take advantage of your employer’s tuition reimbursement.

If you’re interested in pursuing a master’s degree but are impacted by a busy work schedule, check out EIP’s flexible Master’s Programs. With options such as evening or weekend classes and accelerated schedules, earning your master’s degree has never been more convenient. You can choose from five different master’s degree programs: Accelerated M.S. in applied computer sciences, accelerated M.S. in software engineering, fully employed MBA, Master of Social Work, and M.S. in Counseling. Don’t forget to take advantage of your employer’s tuition reimbursement program. Talk to your HR representative!

Are you a currently admitted CSUF student eager to stay on track to graduate or even accelerate your graduation date? Take classes through Summer and Winter Session! This allows you to complete prerequisites, fulfill an internship requirement, or join classes that you couldn’t get into during the fall or spring. Taking classes during summer and winter can also help raise your GPA.

EIP also partners with the College of Education to provide fully online educator courses and programs. If you’re a current or aspiring educator in California, these Educator Courses and Programs can help you meet prerequisites and complete credentials.

If you earned a degree in a non-science field but want to change careers and join the medical field, it’s not too late. EIP’s Pre-Health Postbaccalaureate Program helps you become a competitive applicant for medical school, regardless of your academic background. There’s even an academic finisher program available if you’ve completed at least one year of general biology and general chemistry. With this option, you could finish your remaining prerequisites for medical school in just one year.

So, are you ready to make your New Year’s resolution? Whether it’s taking the next step in your education or advancing your career, CSUF Extension and International Programs will help you achieve success in 2024.
