Support Lifelong Learning for Active Older Adults

Share This:

Age should never be a barrier when it comes to learning. No matter what stage of life we’re in, the pursuit of knowledge is invaluable to our physical, mental and social well-being.

That’s why Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Cal State Fullerton is committed to providing opportunities for retired and semi-retired adults to continue learning in a university setting. Members of OLLI get to participate in enriching classes and activities that cover a variety of topics: arts, economics, healthy living, languages, science and more. They learn from community leaders, university professors and fellow OLLI members.

While membership fees cover a portion of expenses for OLLI, it’s the generosity of members and donors that truly allows the program to thrive. On March 6, OLLI will participate in #TitansGive, an annual 24-hour fundraising initiative that unites the community to support various CSUF programs.

Giving to OLLI during #TitansGive will help improve accessibility for the members (e.g., funding for updated audio equipment or facility improvements), provide CSUF student scholarships and maintain a scholarship fund to help cover the cost of classes for potential members who would otherwise be unable to afford the program.

Mark your calendar for March 6, and get ready to give. Learn more about the #TitansGive campaign for OLLI.
