Cal State Fullerton University Extension recently released its 2024-25 Annual Impact Report that showcases the department’s achievements over the year.
University Extension is a department dedicated to helping CSUF students, Southern California community members, and international students and educators get a head start or advance their careers. The department offers programs for many stages of life, whether people are currently enrolled and need a few extra credits, graduated years ago and want to embark on a new career path, or even haven’t started their university journey yet and want to get started early.
The purpose of CSUF University Extension’s Annual Impact Report is to offer insight into the department’s programs and performance and celebrate graduates, instructors and staff from the last year. From welcoming new staff members to celebrating achievements in and out of the classroom and touting all of the professional development activities throughout the year, the Annual Impact Report has it all.
The Annual Impact Report showcases University Extension’s partners and its plans to expand beyond Orange County. University Extension welcomes the opportunity to partner with California and international workforce partners to curate custom learning opportunities, whether it is on campus, virtually or in a hybrid modality.
This year, University Extension welcomed four new staff members. Several team members celebrated work milestones ranging from 10 to 30 years of service. Four members also completed their master’s degrees this year, and University Extension recognized those academic accomplishments.
“We remain dedicated to advancing our mission and exploring new opportunities for growth, collaboration and creativity. Together, we will continue to empower our students, staff, faculty and instructors; engage our campus, regional and global community; and innovate for success,” said Karen McKinley, executive director of CSUF University Extension.
McKinley’s focus for her staff this year is engagement, and making sure students feel like they are welcomed into a home when they enroll in University Extension programs.
