Renowned sports psychologist Ken Ravizza, who taught kinesiology classes at Cal State Fullerton for nearly 40 years, is among the inductees into the 2021 Athletics Hall of Fame.
Ravizza’s one-of-a-kind methods focused on stress management and applied sports psychology. He applied those methods to help college and professional athletes be successful on and off the field.
While at Fullerton, Ravizza worked with the university’s gymnastics and baseball programs. He supported the 1979 gymnastics squad that went on to win the AIAW Championship. And in baseball, he was part of three of the Titans’ four championship baseball teams. Ravizza passed away in 2018. Continue reading in Titan Athletics.
