Cal State Fullerton’s Office of Research and Sponsored Projects will host its annual Research Week April 22-25 in the Titan Student Union Pavilion. The goal of the week is to promote research and scholarly and creative activities on campus, while also celebrating faculty and student success.

The event kicks off with Student Creative Activities and Research Day on Monday, April 22, during which students will present their research and creative projects. The student presentations will be followed by a keynote presentation from Simon Kim, associate vice president for research and economic development at Cal State Long Beach.

The week’s events will also include: a workshop focused on building strong grant collaborations; a panel discussion on navigating research compliance; a faculty panel discussion on ways faculty maximize their research and scholarly and creative activities; presentations from CSUF centers and institutes on their research and community engagement activities; a lecture from Bogdan Suceavă, CSUF mathematics professor and 2023 recipient of the L. Don Shields Excellence in Scholarship and Creativity Award; and recognition of faculty and staff principal investigators who received funding this year through external sponsors.

Join us in the Titan Student Union for a celebration of faculty and student success. For more information about the event, visit the Titan Research Gateway website.
