
Award-winning and best-selling climate fiction author Kim Stanley Robinson will speak at Cal State Fullerton on March 5 about his novel “The Ministry of the Future.” The talk will take place at 3 p.m. in the Titan Student Union Titan Theater.
His novel explores how the world might survive the global calamity of climate change. He has spoken about the novel at the United Nations, and was named a “Hero of the Environment” by Time magazine. The talk is sponsored by the Pollak Library’s Patrons of the Library and Special Collections. The Acacia graduate student group in the English department will release “Plastic People,” a climate-conscious zine, at the talk.
